This is one is an outboard dbx 222 Type 2, tape noise reduction system that saw use in my production studio while working with some reel to reel tape equipment. That was a few years back now and it has just been taking up rack space ever since I haven't used this in years. The unit was a big help with the original recording project but I no longer have tape equipment like this and I am unable to test it for you. It has a power cord and I was able to power it up and all the lights work but that's as far as I can go with this one. I am selling this as is with no guarantees of any kind no returns on used equipment. You may have some Reel to reel tapes or other media that was originally encoded with the dbx process this unit will help you transfer that material accurately. The lower photograph shows the dbx-222 on the bottom. The other items in the rack are Not for sale. Please don't mind the tools and electronic parts on the bench I am busy refitting my studio at the moment they are not part of the sale.

This is a MPS400A phantom power supply for your microphones that saw use in my production studio for many years but I have not used this in a while and need the rack space. The unit is in great shape but I can not find the 16 volt A.C. power supply. I was able to borrow a 16 Volt A.C. power supply to test it before listing it for sale and I am happy to report it is working fine. That said even if it were not working it will still look great in your rack and impress the clients visiting your project studio as it has in mine. I am selling this as is with no guarantees of any kind no returns on used equipment. The lower photograph shows the MPS-400A on the bottom. The other items in the rack are Not for sale. You plug your microphone into the MPS400A input and it supplies a switchable 24 or 48 volt DC power to the Mic. You plug the output of the MPS400A into your mixing desk. The MPS400A strips out the D.C. voltage and only sends the new microphone leave signal to your desk. A cool way to add phantom power to your microphones.

Phantom power supply with 4 microphone connections each can select 24vdc or 48vdc output and each has a switch for 0, 10, or 20 db cut attenuator.
Manufactured by Edcor Sound Products of Irvine, CA. Model# MPS 400A.

Electrix Filter Queen I have used this in my project studio on several times and its a breeze to work with but now I am making room for other equipment so this one has to go. The unit is in great shape and comes with all the original stuff, manual, and power supply. This is an original and NOT the re-release. The Filter Queen is an awesome sounding analog filter and is used by some of the biggest names in music. It has a built in phono preamp for DJ's that want to use this on records and add that High Resonance techno sound to the mix. There is an LFO to drive the resonant Low Pass Filter. It has rubber feet so it can sit on a desk. If you have two of these or its sister the Electrix EQ Killer you can bolt them together and rack mount them but I always found it more useful to keep it on a long patch cord when working with this filter.

This is the Ring Modulator that I make. They are made to order expect 3 weeks plus 4 to 7 days for shipping. made in heavy box and funky Dymo labels in black very retro both in appearance and its sound. If you are used to hearing the newer Ring Modulators that use digital gates then you have been missing out brother. For this analog Ring Modulator I hand select all the components that go into these and use only the best choice parts like transformers and diodes that I can buy. This all makes for one great sounding Balanced Ring Modulator with a great bell sound especialy on drum or bass. I have designed these to have a rich 1960's tube sound and I play bass so that was also an influence in the design of the circuit.Guitar players will dig the sound as well. In operationThe X input is normaled to the Y input so if you are just plugging in one signal source like a Strat' or bass guitar then you can still have fun. Usually you would plug an external 30Hz to 90Hz or so triangle signal into the Y input. Each input and the X output have attenuators to tweak your mix. Made with 1/4 inch phone jacks on the X, Y, Z, jacks, and toggle switches for A.C or D.C. coupling. Input can be line level all the way up to Serge synth level 10 volt peak to peak signals. This is a passive circuit so no batteries or wall-wort power supplies are needed.
